Engineering Officer

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation for an Engineering Officer to support the maintenance, calibration, and reliability of laboratory and quality control equipment within a regulated manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and calibration of laboratory and quality control equipment.
• Carry out preliminary troubleshooting and coordinate equipment servicing with external providers.
• Monitor maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of service requests.
• Support equipment qualification activities, including temperature mapping studies.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation in line with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with equipment performance monitoring to ensure operational reliability.
• Liaise with external contractors during maintenance and service interventions.
• Support continuous improvement and compliance with quality management systems.

What We're Looking For

• Higher Diploma in Engineering (MQF Level 5) or higher.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or testing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
