Draughtsperson

Our client is looking for a CAD Draughtsperson. 

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed fabrication and production drawings for steel, glass, and bespoke structures. 
• Develop accurate shop drawings for railings, staircases, façades, doors, and other custom features.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and suitable for fabrication.
• Review and amend drawings in line with client requirements, project specifications, and technical changes.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings and translate them into detailed fabrication drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with quality standards, technical requirements, and project deadlines.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across all drawings and project documentation.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, preferably with experience in fabrication or shop drawings.
• Good understanding of steel, glass, and/or construction detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Previous experience in a similar role within fabrication, construction, engineering, or manufacturing is considered an asset.
