Our cline in the Banking sector is looking for a Data Developer to design, build, and maintain data solutions that power reporting, analytics, and business decision-making.
You’ll play a key role in developing and optimising the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Data Warehouse solutions and data pipelines
- Build and optimise ETL processes for integrating data from multiple sources
- Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and consistency across systems
- Develop and enhance BI and reporting solutions
- Support ad-hoc reporting and business data requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions
- Monitor and optimise performance of data systems (tuning, benchmarking)
- Maintain documentation including data models, architecture, and data dictionaries
- Contribute to data governance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support and train users on reporting and data tools
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in Data Engineering/Data Warehousing.
- Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
- Hands on experience with Business Intelligence and Reporting tools, such as (but not limited to) MS Power BI, MS SSRS, SAP Business Objects, Qlikview, Tableau, etc.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to drive process improvements and meet deadlines
- Customer-focused with strong data management knowledge
- Willing to travel.

Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering or related training in Data Warehousing/BI.
- Experience with ETL tools (Microsoft SSIS, SAP Data Services), SQL, PL/SQL, and Data Reporting.
- Experience in the banking or financial sectors is preferred.
