Our client is looking to recruit an AML Compliance associate to support the delivery of outsourced AML/CFT and related compliance services to its clients. The successful candidate will assist with customer due diligence, AML/CFT monitoring, screening, risk assessments, and broader compliance activities, helping to ensure that clients remain compliant with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Main responsibilities include:
- CDD & AML/CFT Support: Assist with the onboarding and ongoing monitoring of corporate and individual clients, including reviewing identification and verification documents, conducting screening checks, identifying missing or inconsistent information, and escalating potential risks or unusual activity to senior team members.
- Risk Assessment Support: Support the preparation and periodic review of AML/CFT and compliance risk assessments by gathering and analysing relevant information, identifying gaps, documenting findings, and preparing draft recommendations for senior review.
- Client Engagement & Delivery: Support the team in managing client deliverables, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, coordinating assigned activities, and ensuring tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
- Compliance Reviews & Internal Audit Support: Assist with client compliance reviews and internal audits, including preparing working papers, documenting findings, maintaining supporting evidence, and following up on remediation actions.
Requirements
- Ability to review documentation thoroughly, identify discrepancies, and ensure information is complete and accurate.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and familiarity with compliance, AML/CFT, or client management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements, analyse information, and identify potential compliance and AML/CFT risks.

Education and experience
- A recognised qualification or professional certification in AML/CFT, compliance, risk, or a related field would be considered an advantage.
