Our client, within the Banking Industry is looking to recruit a Customer Onboarding and KYC Officer to join their growing team.
Main responsibilities :
Support the Relationship Officer in gathering and reviewing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) documentation required for the onboarding of individual and corporate clients, including Know Your Customer (KYC) checks, customer file compilation, and verification of onboarding requirements. This also includes the collection of CDD documentation for non-account holders in line with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
Conduct periodic customer reviews in accordance with established procedures, ensuring that customer records and account opening documentation remain accurate, complete, and up to date.
Compile and maintain CDD documentation for Financial Institutions with which the Bank maintains a Relationship Management Application (RMA), and perform periodic reviews of these relationships as required by internal procedures.
Maintain, monitor, and update customer profiles and transaction records to ensure ongoing compliance and data integrity.
Respond to day-to-day customer requests and web-based enquiries related to KYC and customer due diligence matters.
Provide support for Internet Banking-related customer enquiries and issues.
Requirements
Previous experience within the banking sector or in a similar administrative/compliance-focused role will be considered an asset.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Fluency in Maltese will be considered an asset.
Positive, proactive attitude towards work, challenges, and non-routine responsibilities.

Education and experience
Diploma in Banking and Finance or a related qualification at MQF Level 4 (preferred).
