Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Practice Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the CEO, the chosen candidate will:
Leadership & Strategic Direction
- Direct as one integrated business entity, driving aligned priorities, service standards, and operational excellence across all three discipline service lines.
- Represent as an active member of Senior Partnership, contributing to group-wide strategy, commercial governance, and corporate decision-making.
- Maintain direct reporting lines to the Chairman & CEO and COO on business unit performance, financial pipelines, talent allocation, and risk management.
- Make timely, decisive interventions to resolve resourcing bottlenecks, operational constraints, or critical client issues.
Business Development & Commercial Growth
- Take ultimate ownership of business plan execution, pipeline growth, and revenue targets through public tenders, direct client acquisitions, and cross-selling across the company's wider project ecosystem.
- Define and optimize the company's positioning, fee structures, pricing models, and bid strategies to secure high-value, multi-million-euro annual work programs.
- Cultivate long-term strategic relationships with public authorities, project promoters, real estate developers, consultants, and contractors to drive repeat and referred business.
Team Leadership & Delivery Oversight
- Maintain comprehensive oversight of team workload, forward capacity, and resourcing across all service lines, collaborating with discipline leads to balance operational demand with team capacity.
- Coordinate specialist contributions to broader multidisciplinary projects, ensuring timely and seamless cross-functional delivery.
- Mentor, guide, and develop discipline leads and technical teams, proactively mitigating project delivery risks and resourcing friction.
Government, Regulatory & Industry Engagement
- Establish and safeguard standing and regulatory eligibility with key Maltese authorities, including the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage and the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA).
- Act as the primary ambassador and corporate face of the company across public sector agencies, government entities, and professional industry forums.
Requirements
- Deep familiarity with local Maltese regulatory frameworks, public authorities, and property development ecosystems.
- Strong leadership capability in managing multi-disciplinary teams and contributing to corporate governance at a senior partner level.

Education and experience
- Senior executive background in management consulting, engineering, built environment, or professional services consulting.
- Proven track record in public tendering, bid strategy, fee negotiation, and growing multi-million-euro service portfolios.
