Our client, a growing large company in Malta is looking for a senior treasury accountant to join their team
Responsibilities:
- Support cash management and funding activities across the business.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with financial planning and forecasting.
- Maintain relationships with banking and financial partners.
- Oversee payment processes and ensure effective financial controls.
- Prepare treasury-related reports, analysis, and reconciliations.
- Track financial obligations and support compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business operations and financial objectives.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance function.
Requirements
- Previous local experience in treasury, cash management, or corporate finance.
- Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking operations.
- Experience working with banking facilities, financing arrangements, and covenant monitoring.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field OR Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
