Our client, operating in the marine industry is seeking to recruit a Senior Finance Officer to join their growing team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Work within the Accounts department, liaising closely with the Financial Controller
Maintain precise and up-to-date bookkeeping records
Perform supplier account reconciliations
Conduct bank reconciliations
Process accounting adjustments, including credit notes and journal entries
Assist in preparing monthly reports and management accounts
Support the preparation and issuance of monthly invoices
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue balances
Requirements
Proficient in IT systems and applications
Able to work collaboratively to meet deadlines and business objectives
Previous experience in a similar position is preferred
Education and Experience
Holds an AAT qualification or is currently studying towards ACCA
