Senior Finance Officer (Internal)

We are working with a corporate services provider who are looking for an Internal Senior Finance Officer to join their team. 

Requirements

• Prepare and compile monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Support the expense reimbursement process by preparing and processing the required documentation.
• Accurately record financial transactions and maintain complete and organised supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process periodic cash and cheque deposits in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, receivables, payables, and general ledger balances.
• Process supplier payments accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and controls.
• Prepare and issue periodic client invoices and account statements, as well as ad hoc invoices when required.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns while liaising with tax authorities on related matters.
• Respond to and resolve finance-related queries from clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working in finance and/or accounting
• Must be capable of doing management accounts
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Maltese is an asset
• Working effectively within a team

Education and experience

• MQF level 6 in Accounting or Finance or in the process of doing the ACCA exams
