Senior Auditor

On behalf of our client, an independent audit, tax and advisory firm based in Nicosia, we are looking for an experienced Senior Auditor to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits for clients in various industries (i.e. investment companies, provision of financing facilities, trading companies, etc.) per International Standards on Auditing and Companies Law
  • Prepare tax computations based on Cyprus tax legislation and Circulars
  • Communicate with clients indirectly and coordinate with office accounting for documentation
  • Report progress to the Audit Manager and review all audit documentation
  • Support, train and share knowledge to junior staff, and contribute to positive client relationships
  • Stay updated and develop knowledge in the following areas: Auditing Standards, IFRS, Companies Law, Taxation, and VAT
  • Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Holder of ACA / ACCA professional qualification with a good track of exam results
  • Minimum two years’ audit experience
  • Familiar with CaseWare Audit International
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, works well under pressure
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking
  • Professionalism and confidentiality
  • Fluent in English and Greek, oral and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • IT literate and adaptable.

Requirements

  • Complete multiple audit engagements and prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS
