Senior Accountant

A well established Corporate Services Provider is looking for a Senior Accountant to work for one of their big clients operating in the Retail sector.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining up to date accounting records up to trial balance stage
• Posting of invoices
• Completing day to day bookkeeping
• Carrying out bank reconciliations
• Processing VAT returns
• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
• Ensuring Debtors and Creditors are in line with the credit terms
• Chasing such debtors
• Assisting to ad-hoc queries and tasks as instructed from management
• Preparation of Payroll and work permits
• Prepare the finalisation pack for the companies within the same group

Requirements

• Previous local experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in both Maltese and English language is required
• Having a Maltese driver’s license would be considered an asset
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of work
