Senior Accountant - Part time (20 hours)

Our client, a fintech company is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant on part time basis (20 hours) to join their growing team.

Main responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including supplier invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.
• Perform month-end closing procedures and maintain accurate accounting records and master data.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and other management reports.
• Prepare and review VAT returns, corporate tax filings, and other statutory submissions.
• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments and compliance with applicable legislation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow monitoring, and working capital management.
• Coordinate annual external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Maintain and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial procedures.
• Undertake additional duties as required by the Managing Director.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong written and spoken English, with excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
