Lead Accountant

We are working with a global company within the manufacturing industry who are looking for a Lead Accountant to join their team. This person will report to the Finance Manager and lead the accounting function of the group

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3 people in the Accounting Function
• Accounting policy, control, and compliance
• Estimates, prepayments and accruals
• Accounting for Leases
• Accounting for Inventory and usage consumptions
• Accounting for Payroll
• Capitalisation and amortisation of Non-current Assets
• Project costing and invoicing
• Journal Entry Management
• Account Reconciliations and certification
• General ledger maintenance
• VAT analysis and reporting
• SOX compliance and Audit requirements
• Statutory reporting
• Transfer Pricing

Requirements

• Fully Qualified Accountant, preferably with a warrant
• 3+ years of local experience in Accounts
• Leadership experience is a plus
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills
