Junior Internal Accountant

Our client, is seeking to recruit a motivated Junior Internal Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone at the early stage of their accounting career who is eager to grow within a dynamic organization. The Junior Internal Accountant will support daily accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Duties include but not limited to: 

• Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
•  Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
•  Identify and report discrepancies or irregularities in financial data
•  Contribute to process improvements within the finance department

Requirements

• Prior experience in accounting department considered an asset but not a requirement
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Local experience is required for this role

Education and experience

• Minimum A level standard in accounts or currently pursuing ACCA
