Junior Client Accountant

One of our clients, a leading CSP is looking for a Junior Client Accountant to join their team.  

Responsibilities:   

• Providing a service of client accounts to a growing portfolio of international clients 
• Assist clients with the preparation and filing of the VAT returns 
• Assist in the formation and maintaining both Maltese entities, arranging for legal, accounting, and tax advice etc 
• Ensure that all accounting and legal requirements are complied with and for delivering services  
• Ensure the delivery of accurate management accounts, annual accounts and tax returns  
• Maintain contact with the international clients’ representatives as well as with other third-party entities

Requirements

• 1-2 years local experience in a similar role preferably within an accounting firm
• Ideally experience in working within corporate taxation or EU VAT
• Excellent command of the English language
• Good use of the general office software including accounts system
