Junior Accountant

Our client within the Insurance Industry is looking for a Junior Accountant to join the team 

Responsibilities;

• Prepares and reconciles monthly management accounts in line with IFRS 17, including financial statements and supporting notes.
• Assists auditors during annual audits and helps with the preparation of financial statements.
• Prepares VAT returns, recap statements, and related notices.
• Produces monthly cash flow forecasts and processes payment runs.
• Issues client invoices and ensures accurate data entry in accounting systems.
• Submits required financial reports to regulatory authorities within set deadlines. 

Requirements

• Previous local experience in a similar role
• Candidates with Insurance experience will be given preference
