On behalf of our client, a well-established boutique professional services firm based in Nicosia, providing audit, tax and advisory services and supported by professionals with more than 30 years of experience in leading international firms, we are looking for an Accountant to join their team in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure proper recording and maintenance of accounting books and ledger accounts.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, collections and reconciliations.
Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial results and internal reporting.
Provide support in the development of budgets and financial projections.
Assist in maintaining compliance with tax obligations and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors, banks and other external parties when necessary.
Oversee and review staff expense submissions to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification.
Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting position.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
Experience with Sofia accounting software will be considered an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and effective time management.
Fluent in Greek (Native Level) & English
