Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking to recruit an IFRS Specialist to join their team. The selected candidate will have the following opportunity:
- Act as a key point of contact for IFRS, technical accounting, and financial reporting advisory services.
- Provide expert technical advice on complex IFRS matters, accounting transactions, restructurings, acquisitions, and capital markets activities.
- Support audit teams in addressing significant accounting judgements, technical accounting matters, and financial reporting requirements.
- Review and provide guidance on technical accounting papers, financial statements, and related disclosures.
- Monitor emerging IFRS developments and assess their potential impact, providing timely advice and practical solutions to clients.
- Design and deliver IFRS training, technical updates, and thought leadership initiatives for clients and professional teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the market, establishing a leading position in IFRS and accounting advisory services.
- Identify, develop, and lead new business opportunities within the accounting advisory practice.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop innovative, commercially focused solutions that address clients’ evolving financial reporting needs.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of relevant professional experience, including significant experience in IFRS and technical accounting advisory.

Education and experience
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong leadership, relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
