Head of Finance

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate to join their organisation as a Head of Finance.  

The Role

• Prepare and reconcile monthly management accounts, including financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Assist with annual audits and support the preparation of financial reports.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Produce cash flow forecasts and manage payment processing.
• Handle client invoicing and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Submit financial reports to authorities within deadlines.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor costs, including labour, procurement, and operational expenses.
• Improve financial processes and support ERP/system implementation.
• Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.

Requirements

• ACCA qualified.
• Previous experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting systems and data management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively with teams.
