A reputable client of ours, specialised within the Business Support Services industry, is looking to onboard a Group Accountant to join their growing team. The designated person will play a key role within the finance function of a group of Companies, and will be reporting directly to the Group CFO:
Duties:
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation process, overseeing the preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports
- Analyse group financial performance and present insights to the Group CFO
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing across all entities, ensuring consistency in accounting policies across
- Assist with group cash flow forecasting and liquidity management, as well as online banking set-up and optimisingg treasury operations
- Support funding requirements and intercompany financing structures, managing intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries
- Support effective reporting across complex group structures, and ensure accurate and complete financial records
- Oversee Accounts payable and receivable; Bank reconciliations; and General ledger maintenance
Requirements
- 2-3 years’ local experience in a similar role, ideally within a multi-entity or group environment or in an accounting services company with a relatable client portfolio
- Familiarity with multi-entity accounting environments
- Proven experience in financial reporting and consolidation
- Good knowledge of group consolidation and reporting processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Education and experience
- Ideally Fully qualified through ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent; Partly qualified would also be considered
