Financial Controller

Our client in the Industrial Services Industry is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their team.

Main responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage the accounts department, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and accurate execution of daily accounting operations.
• Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements and management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, financial reporting requirements, and internal policies and procedures.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the Group.
• Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Prepare and present timely, accurate financial reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Enhance internal controls, financial processes, and governance practices across the Group.
• Monitor cash flow, expenditure, and overall financial performance to support financial stability and business objectives.
• Identify and implement opportunities for cost optimisation, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in financial statements preparation, analysis, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software, financial systems, and reporting tools.
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and/or a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
