Finance Manager

Our client, one of the largest companies in Malta is looking for a Finance Manager to join their large team

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Finance & Compliance function and ensure the company meets all financial, tax, regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Oversee financial controls, accounting processes and the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports.
• Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with auditors, regulators, banks and external advisors.
• Identify financial and operational risks and ensure appropriate controls are in place to address them.
• Manage the company’s tax affairs, including tax planning, compliance and identifying available tax incentives.
• Oversee treasury activities, including cash flow, bank relationships, foreign exchange exposure, financing and investments.
• Monitor cash and bank balances and ensure regular reconciliations are completed.
• Oversee project accounting, budgets and financial performance to ensure projects remain financially viable.
• Lead and support the Finance & Compliance team, allocating work, reviewing performance and developing junior team members.

Requirements

• Minimum of 9 years overall experience, 5 years of which as a Finance Manager. With particular focus on FMCG.
