A growing hospitality business specialising in boutique hotels is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function across its portfolio. This is a standalone role offering genuine autonomy, direct exposure to the business owner, and the opportunity to play a key role in the company's continued growth.
Main responsibilities :
- Managing the day-to-day finance function across all properties.
- Producing monthly management accounts and consolidated group reporting.
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Overseeing all transactional finance, including purchase ledger, supplier payments, payroll, journals, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements, VAT returns, and year-end audits.
- Reviewing and strengthening financial controls, systems, and internal processes.
- Working closely with the owner and management team to provide financial analysis and commercial recommendations that support business growth.
Requirements
- Previous experience within management accounting or commercial finance, ideally in an SME or high-growth environment.
- A proactive, adaptable attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- An interest in hospitality or working within a customer-focused business would be advantageous.
- Strong experience preparing management accounts and delivering meaningful financial reporting.
