Finance Internal Controls Manager

Our client, an international Insurance Company is looking to recruit a Finance Internal Controls Manager to join their growing team.

Main responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and maintain internal control policies and ensure organization-wide adherence.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and control evaluations within finance operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Improve and redesign finance processes, identifying manual areas with control risks and recommending automation.
• Support risk assessment activities and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of findings.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on internal controls.
• Prepare and present internal control reports, certificates, and other ad-hoc reports for management.
• Track operational incidents, analyze root causes, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Review aging of balance sheet accounts and challenge entries when needed.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to strengthen internal controls and provide training on control procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated and effective control systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in internal controls, audit, or financial risk management, ideally in the financial or insurance sector.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking, attention to detail, leadership capability, regulatory awareness, and a process-improvement mindset.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
