We are working with an international tech company who are looking for a finance assistant to join their Malta Office.
This role is being offered on a part-time basis, or full time reduced.
What you'll be doing
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department
- Record journal entries and handle both purchase and sales invoices
- Carry out bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare, issue, and follow up on sales invoices
- Ensure timely processing of payments to suppliers and consultants
- Communicate with suppliers and consultants to resolve payment-related queries
- Organize, store, and maintain invoices and financial records
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts
- Provide support during audit processes as needed
- Produce monthly and ad hoc financial reports
Requirements
- 1-2 years local experience in a similar role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a B2B environment is a plus
- Understanding of the Maltese language is preferred
