Our client is seeking to recruit a client accounting manager.
Duties include:
Leading an accounting team: fostering effective communication and motivation in line with the company’s vision and values;
Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting and VAT frameworks, assisting other team members as their primary point of contact and reviewing their work where appropriate;
Lead and oversee key accounting projects;
Assist in the onboarding of new clients;
Overseeing all aspects of the team’s work, ensuring high levels of quality, efficiency and client satisfaction;
Monitoring team performance and be involved in target setting;
Managing team workflows, workloads and deadlines;
Mentoring and supporting other team members in their growth and development;
Collaborating with other departments, including audit, payroll, funding and corporate, and identifying opportunities for departmental cross-selling;
Assessing and proposing improvements to systems and processes;
Identifying opportunities for the unit’s growth;
Supporting the Senior Client Accounting Manager with additional tasks as required
Requirements
ACCA qualified or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years experience in a CSP environment following achievements of qualifications
Excellent command of accounting standards, Maltese VAT and tax legislation
