Our client, a boutique Corporate Service Provider (CSP) within the financial services sector, is seeking a Client Accountant.
In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients. Working within a small team, you will operate alongside Managers and Directors, gaining direct exposure to senior expertise in a highly supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for international clients, managing day-to-day accounting communications and building long-term working relationships.
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks up to Trial Balance stage, including recording invoices, journal entries, and bank postings.
- Prepare and submit periodic VAT returns in line with local statutory regulations.
- Prepare monthly payroll
- Oversee monthly bank reconciliations and manage payment processing smoothly.
- Collaborate with the billing officer on administrative tasks, invoicing, and internal finance inquiries.
- Assist with specialized financial reporting, client queries, and tailor-made projects as required.
This role is also opened for reduced hours.
Requirements
- Positive attitude, organized with keen attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles up to Trial Balance
- Understanding of VAT returns is considered a plus
- Competent in Microsoft Office

Education and experience
- Actively studying ACCA is considered an asset
- 2 to 5 years of local accounting experience (experience within a CSP or audit firm context is a plus).
