A client of ours operating withing Business Support Services, primarily specialised within Commercial Real Estate, is looking to onboard a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team:
Duties:
- Manage budgeting processes and financial performance tracking, overseeing financial structures and budgeting for international development projects
- Ensure accurate financial reporting maintaining strong financial controls and reporting standards, overseeing cash flow management, financial planning, and liquidity management.
- Work closely with the CEO and leadership to ensure financial alignment across various projects, also overseeing a team of Juniors located oversees
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor project financial performance, cost allocations, and capital deployment.
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and listing regulations, liaising with external auditors and advisors
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and financial advisors as well as various stakeholders as required.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards, overseeing internal financial controls, governance, and risk management.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, efficiency, and reporting processes
- Supervise financial documentation, invoicing structures, and payment processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of local experience working in a similar role, overseeing financial management, controlling, or investment-related roles.
- Experience managing financial structures across multiple entities or jurisdictions.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Previous working experience within an International Organisation will be advantageous for this role
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics
- Must be a locally warranted Accountant
