Accounts Payable Officer

Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join a growing team

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and authorization.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment runs per company policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and support month-end closing.
• Generate accounts payable reports and assist with audits.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements in AP functions.

Requirements

• Experience is needed in a similar role
• Fluent in both written and spoken Maltese and English

Education and experience

• A level in Accounts
