Our client, a corporate services provider is seeking to recruit an Accounting Officer to join the accounting team. Candidates need to have a keen interest interest and basic understanding of Accounting, Corporate and Banking matters.
Duties include:
- Client bookkeeping and general accounting services
- Liaising with clients and handling various requests in a timely manner
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts or accountancy files for audit
- Supporting the Accounting Team with various day-to-day administrative tasks
- Assisting with the ongoing administration of the bank accounts including liaising with the banks and clients on transactions
- Managing and preparing the necessary documentation to comply with statutory, legal, corporate, secretarial,and administrative procedures
- Organizing physical and digital files, ensuring easy retrieval of documents when needed
- Undertaking other duties from time to time as may be agreed with the Head of Accounting / Directors.
Requirements
- Should be in the initial stages of ACCA or in possession of a diploma level of education in a field related with the financial services industry.
- One-year work experience within a financial services environment
- Able to work in a team
- Be proactive, reliable and highly organised.
- Excellent communications skills in English
