Accounts Executive

Our client within the wellness industry is looking to recruit an Accounts Executive to join their team.

Main responsibilities :

• Maintaining and following financial controls and procedures.
• Monitoring cash flow, handling banking activities and preparing bank reconciliations.
• Managing day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Keeping bookkeeping records accurate and up to date.
• Processing payroll and ensuring salaries are paid accurately and on time.
• Monitoring stock levels, carrying out inventory reconciliations and assisting with stock valuation.
• Preparing customer and supplier invoices and reconciling accounts.
• Preparing financial reports and management accounts.
• Reviewing financial information, identifying discrepancies and following up on any issues.
• Providing financial information and support to management when required.
• Ensuring accounting records are maintained in line with relevant requirements and assisting with internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an accounting role will be considered an asset
• Good Microsoft Excel skills and experience using accounting software are required
• The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage tasks independently and work well as part of a team.
