Accounts Executive

Our client within the Wholesale and Distribution Industry is looking for an Accounts Executive to join their team.

Main responsibilities :

• Assist with stock control and inventory-related processes.
• Utilise the company’s Management Automated System for accounting and administrative purposes.
• Process and post invoices, payments and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and external service providers, including banks and other financial institutions.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable administration.
• Prepare, maintain and update financial records and documentation.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and customer accounts.
• Assist management with the preparation of sales reports, financial reports and other financial information.
• Provide general office and administrative support, together with any other duties reasonably required by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Good computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
