Accounts Clerk

Our client is seeking to recruit an Accounts Executive to join their team.

Main responsibilities :

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing procedures.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, and employee expense claims in a timely manner.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors by preparing and providing the required documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper filing and documentation.
• Work closely with other departments to facilitate efficient financial operations.
• Carry out general administrative duties as required by the business.
• Undertake any other responsibilities that are appropriate to the role and assigned by management.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Working knowledge of Shireburn accounting software; experience with RoomMaster will be considered an asset.

Education and experience

• A minimum of A-Level qualification in Accounting or an equivalent certification.
