Accountant

Our client in the Security Industry is looking for an Accountant to join and and lead the Finance Team. 

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and submitting monthly management accounts
• Handling VAT returns 
• Handling reviews and improvements of internal control procedures
• Supporting in the development of systems which monitor company costs 
• Being the right hand of the Group CFO with regards to budgeting process as well as control of cash flow and forecasts 
• Processing monthly work in progress calculations
• Preparing all financial reports and analyses 
• Leading and supporting the team 
• Supporting with the day to day 

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of local experience in a similar role and industry
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Excellent verbal and written English and Maltese
