Accountant - Gozo

A large company based in Gozo are looking for an Accountant due to growth of the company

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of various companies within the Group.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure transactions are correctly recorded.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with VAT returns and other statutory submissions.
• Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations between Group entities.
• Support the preparation of year-end accounts and audit documentation.
• Liaise with auditors, suppliers, customers and other external parties when required.
• Assist with various accounting, reporting and administrative tasks across the Group.

Requirements

• Previous local experience in an accounting role would be considered an asset.
• The level of responsibility will be tailored to the successful candidate's qualifications and experience.

Education and experience

• A qualification or ongoing studies in Accounting, Finance, ACCA or a related field.
