Marketing Manager

  Central Malta  |  €30,000 - €35,000 Annually 

A leading food importer and distributor on the island is seeking a Marketing Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the marketing strategy within the FMCG sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market dynamics, digital marketing, and brand management to drive the company's visibility and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with function Heads and the CEO to formulate and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with organisational goals.
  •  Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and support the organisation’s strategic decisions.
  • Lead the execution of digital marketing initiatives ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
  • Maintain brand integrity across all platforms and communications, ensuring consistency in messaging and visuals.
  • Develop and oversee a content strategy that engages our target audience and drives conversions.
  • Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure marketing initiatives are effectively executed and aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, tracking expenses and ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and guide marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in Marketing or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
