Our client is looking for a Financial Analyst with an investigative mindset to join their team and deliver financial articles and analyses focussing on the economic landscape and business world in Malta. Our client is a news portal and is looking for someone to share their passion for reporting the truth and the facts as we know them, tightly following the Code of Ethics that the publication’s ethos rests on.. 

The Role

The ideal candidate for this position will have a considerable passion and interest in analysing different industries and sectors in Malta to produce concise  and readable sectoral reports. The candidate will also need to carry out analysis related to Malta’s economic policy. You will need to be informed about new policies affecting economic sectors and the way such policies will inevitably change market dynamics. 

The Person

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in researching and writing reports of a similar nature. An understanding of financial statements as well as economics are essential for anyone to be effective in this role.. Beyond the aforementioned aspects, the ideal candidate needs to have a personal connection within these areas in order to produce informative  and precise reports with utmost accuracy. This job will be an extension of a personal passion rather than a job which one will adapt to. This person must be willing to speak to the necessary people who will provide the required information to have the most accurate data possible. 

Thus, the ideal candidate for this job must live and breath these economic and business sectors in order to be able to help populate the online publication with content related to Malta’s finance, economy and business landscape.
