Technical Support Specialist

  Central Malta  |  €30,000 - €35,000 Annually 

Our client in the Information Technology Industry is looking to recruit a Technical Support Specialist to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line of support to employees onsite, and remotely with issues related to hardware, software and network. 
  • Troubleshooting technical issues 
  • Assisting in the installation, configuration of computer systems, and IT hardware 
  • Managing user accounts, permissions and access rights 
  • Providing support for corporate applications of clients 
  • Assisting with network troubleshooting in terms of LAN/WAN, WIFI and VPN connections 
  • Ensuring that all IT security policies are followed, including antivirus management, and secure user access  
  • Supporting with the ticketing system 
  • Supporting in any day to day requests 

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role locally
  • Experience in Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint and Azure
  • Experience in Virtual Solutions and troubleshooting

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent will be considered an asset
