Technical Support Officer

Malta  |  €18,000 - €22,000 

Our large hospitality client is seeking to recruit a Technical Support Officer to join their robust IT team. This is an excellent role for junior candidates who are seeking to be exposed to a variety of systems and technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first line support, training, and resolve issues for end users
  • Install, monitor, troubleshoot and provide general administration to networks and devices
  • Update and Maintain hardware, software, documentation and general IT processes
  • Be able to prioritize requests as they come in
  • Provide onsite or remote support when on standby during weekends and public holidays

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience
  • Professional level of spoken and written English & Maltese
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn quickly
  • Be able to work shifts, weekend, and holidays as needed
  • Exposure to Windows based systems, servers, and cloud software

Education & Experience

  • MCAST or University degree in IT/ ICT related field would be considered an asset
  • CCNA certification would be considered an advantage as well
