Junior Systems Administrator


A well-established Financial Institution is looking to employ an IT Administrator to join its IT team. Individuals must be able to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision.


  • Managing and monitoring all installed systems and all IT infrastructure including network and telephony.
  • Delivering day-to-day IT and desktop support via telephone, email, remotely or on-site.
  • Being responsible for various systems setup, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring that the overall IT infrastructure is working efficiently and according to strict quality and security standards.
  • Supporting roll-outs of new applications and at times involved in testing.
  • Managing systems and applications backups.
  • Managing IT Ticketing System.
  • Being responsible of IT Assets registry.
  • Prioritising and managing multiple open cases.
  • On-boarding of new users and installation of required hardware/software.
  • Providing induction training to new staff.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Office 365 Suite. ​

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Good troubleshooting abilities, capable of analysing a problem and finding a long-term working solution.
  • Having a passion for automation and understanding of security awareness.
  • Excellent time management, task planning, and prioritising.
  • Very good written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge in MS Windows Server Administration and Active Directory.
  • Experience in Networking, basic troubleshooting and Office 365 Suite.
  • Knowledge in VMware virtualisation platform, Veeam, and scripting administration would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of VOIP telephony systems and of Intune (Azure) would also be an asset.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in IT or IT certifications.
