Junior Desktop Support Specialist

  North of Malta  |  €20,000 - €24,000 Annually 

Our client, operating in the tech industry, is looking for Desktop Support Specialist to join their team, supporting company clients with their IT requirements and challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for the corporate users and provide users with support, by handling user problems reported via telephone, emails, instant messaging channels and tickets.
  • Track all the support issues in the ticketing system, clearly grouping them for easier tracking via the ticketing system, liaising with other support teams to resolve calls logged.
  • Provide a high standard of communication and customer service with the business both written and verbal.
  • Follow up tickets, existing tickets, escalate high priority and ensure current procedures and standards are followed.
  • Remotely support PCs, laptops, and software related issues/queries and remotely support locations/offices where the users are connected.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment
  • 1-2 years' of experience in IT support
  • ITIL 4 Certification would be considered an asset
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of OS, Networking, Hardware and Software.
