IT Systems Administrator

  • Being responsible for setting up, configuring and maintaining the internal systems, applications, printers, operating systems and hardware.
  • Keeping the IT inventory up to date.
  • Tackling issues related to hardware, software, operating system failure and data recovery.
  • Escalating calls internally and/with third parties.
  • Managing user accounts, groups, passwords and mailboxes using mainly Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Managing user access, data and content type in the SharePoint online environment.
  • Managing File Service and and other storage locations used internally.
  • Ensuring that safety and quality policies are promoted and implemented in the company.
  • Carrying out operational documentation, such as Knowledge Base articles and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Making sure that the elements of SMS are implemented maintained and improved properly.
  • Supporting IT projects and the implementation of new technologies, as well as suggesting improvements to the IT systems.
  • Performing any other duties as required.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience in a Technical Support role.
  • Strong knowledge/experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows 10 and a variety of software, applications and hardware.
  • Experience performing incident and request management in line with ITL practices and working with SLA targets.
  • A problem solving and analytical mindset, with ability to prioritize.
  • Strong team-player attitude and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft and ITIL, will be considered an asset.
