IT Support Technician


Our client is looking to recruit for an IT Support Technician opportunity to join their growing team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical support to ensure high availability and attainment of service levels
  • Troubleshooting issues and escalating accordingly
  • Liaise with other sections within the Technology Department in order to carry out the support function
  • Monitor client services and maintain a close contact with the NOC team to ensure a proactive approach
  • Liaise with Customer Care personnel to ensure timely and effective resolution of customers’ queries
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Undergo staff training as required by the company


Education and Experience

  • Advanced Diploma in IT
  • Experience in a similar role would be preferred
  • Knowledge of networking technologies
  • Prior exposure to a ticketing system is a plus


Desired skills

  • Excellent communication skills preferably in both Maltese and English
  • Team player
  • Motivated and able to work independently


This role is SHIFT-BASED on a Day, Night, Rest, Off shift basis.
