Our client, a leader in international tax and wealth management advisory, is looking for an IT Support Specialist. In this role, you will be the primary contact for all end-user incidents and service request management. It is very hands-on and user-facing regarding the end-user requests, issues, and difficulties that arise. The role's responsibilities will include:
- Managing internet access, security and connectivity.
- Troubleshooting systems and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, networks, and users' printers.
- Routinely monitoring servers and maintenance, including backup and recovery.
- Managing user accounts and access policies.
- Direct dealings with 3rd party vendors for the firm's IT infrastructure and other business applications.
- Setting up, maintaining, supporting, and managing all requests of the end user within the service level agreement timelines until complete resolution.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar supporting position.
- Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Office suite knowledge, Windows Server 2012 onwards, MS Active Directory, Exchange Online, DNS and DHCP.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, Firewalls, Switches and Routers.
- Exposure to ITSM applications, such as SolarWinds SA Manage is highly preferred.
- Experience with Sharepoint Online is also an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English, Maltese is preferred but not necessary.
Education and Experience
- A Degree or Diploma in IT or similar is preferred.
