IT Support Specialist

A leader in the manufacturing industry is seeking to employ an IT Support Specialist to join their It team. The selected candidate must be ambitious with a can-do attitude, meticulous and who can work on own initiative. 


  • Support the IT strategy in order to help the company meet its goals and long-term vision
  • Provide first level support to internal users via helpdesk system: both local and remote
  • Monitor proactively IT assets
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software across various platforms
  • Follow infrastructure and security best practices
  • Liaise with vendors and other 3rd parties
  • Educate our internal users on IT systems, IT policies and best practices
  • Provide out of office hours support through an on-call rotation system
  • Take ownership of tasks and projects assigned to you by the IT Manager

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Have ideally a minimum of 1 year experience in IT Support
  • Professional working proficiency of the English language
  • Have an analytic mindset and be attentive to detail
  • Be eager to learn new technologies
  • Experience or Knowledge in MS 365, Windows Servers, Virtualization or Linux would be considered an asset
  • Certification in A+, CCNA or ITIL would be considered an asset

Education & Experience

In possession of a diploma or a bachelor’s degree in the IT field
