IT Support Officer

  Central Malta  |  €20,000 - €24,000 Annually 

Our client is looking for an IT Support Officer to join their dynamic team. Assist the IT department to ensure and effective and efficient operation of the company's IT system and infrastructure. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist to user inquiries through phone, email, or in-person, offering technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Identify and resolve hardware problems, install, configure, and manage software applications.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement system upgrades and enhancements tailored to the company's technology.
  • Address and troubleshoot wired and wireless network connectivity issues, assist in overseeing IT inventory by tracking hardware and software licenses and ensuring accurate equipment records.
  • Provide training and guidance to company staff on fundamental IT procedures and system usage and establish and manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Maintain documentation of IT support requests and resolutions, user guides, and manuals specific to the company's systems.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in an IT Support Officer role.
  • Understanding of software, hardware, networking and operating systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as being part of a team.
  • Driver's license

Education & Experience

Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field.
