IT Helpdesk Support

Our Maltese marketing firm is urgently recruiting for an IT Helpdesk Support Technician to join their growing IT team. This is a role that focuses on internal users and first line support. This role is great for those who are focused on efficiency and wishing to get start in IT.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and timely 1st line IT support and assistance to staff members as issues arise.
  • Properly escalate issues if they can not be resolved
  • Provide assistance when new hardware and software needs to be purchased and implemented
  • Ensure employees have correct provisioning and SLAs for all user accounts
  • Enforcing SLA's with third-party providers
  • Daily monitoring of backups, firewalls, and anti-virus protection to ensure any issues can be combated before arising.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Valid class B drivers license or higher
  • Knowledge of Active Directory & Office 365
  • Strong time management skills
  • Professional English skills in speaking, writing, and reading
  • 1+ year experience in a similar role would be considered a plus

Education & Experience

  • Diploma in IT
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent
  • CCNA & MCSA would be considered an asset
