A leading company in Malta is seeking to employ an ICT Support Officer to join their existing team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing technical support and have a good understanding of computer systems, and software applications.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee helpdesk requests and provide 2nd tier support for technical staff.
- Assist junior staff and support when necessary.
- Liaise/escalate with relevant software vendors and suppliers.
- Assist with the implementation of new ICT projects and initiatives.
- Provide training to staff on the use of ICT systems and software applications.
- Maintain accurate records of hardware and software asset inventory.
- Responsible for proper IT documentation, policies and procedures;
Knowledge on any of the below, although it is not a requirement, will be considered an added advantage:
- Avaya Contact Centre Platform
- Microsoft Power Suite
- Compliance with ISO standards
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Proven experience as an ICT Support Officer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, and software applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Education & Experience
Certification in a related field will be considered an asset
