ICT Support Officer

Malta  |  €23,000 - €25,000  

A leading company in Malta is seeking to employ an ICT Support Officer to join their existing team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing technical support and have a good understanding of computer systems, and software applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee helpdesk requests and provide 2nd tier support for technical staff.
  • Assist junior staff and support when necessary.
  • Liaise/escalate with relevant software vendors and suppliers.
  • Assist with the implementation of new ICT projects and initiatives.
  • Provide training to staff on the use of ICT systems and software applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware and software asset inventory.
  • Responsible for proper IT documentation, policies and procedures;

Knowledge on any of the below, although it is not a requirement, will be considered an added advantage:

  • Avaya Contact Centre Platform
  • Microsoft Power Suite
  • Compliance with ISO standards

 

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Proven experience as an ICT Support Officer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, and software applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Education & Experience

Certification in a related field will be considered an asset
