Application Support Specialist

An Application Support Specialist role has become available in Malta. Within this role you will be responsible for:

  • Provide internal support for new applications
  • Identify recurring application issues and ensure a permanent solution
  • Communication, support and training to end-users
  • Prioritise and manage multiple open cases at one time
  • Document existing and new setups, workflows and procedures
  • Liaise with vendors to install and test new releases
  • Troubleshoots simple to complex issues as reported by end-users
  • Analyzes existing data and metrics to determine trends and performance

Education & Experience:

  • Possessing a minimum 1-year experience in a similar role
  • Holding a bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in IT or related IT certifications
  • Having past experience in testing applications
  • Exposure to SQL and SSRS will be considered as an asset

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure, providing long-term working solutions to problems
  • Ability to manage own time with minimal supervision, plan ahead and prioritise
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capacity to work both in a team as well as independently
