Our client is seeking a Product Manager to work directly with their clients, transforming ideas into high-quality, shipped software. This full-cycle role involves identifying requirements, collaborating on design, managing the product development lifecycle, and executing rollout strategies to ensure client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to establish product requirements, balancing high-level strategies with day-to-day actionable tasks.
- Maintain a robust backlog with contributions from designers and developers, ensuring at least one week of work is prepared ahead.
- Convert ideas into low-fidelity wireframes and partner with designers to develop high-fidelity designs that guide development.
- Prepare weekly cycle documentation for development tasks, run daily standups with the development team, and ensure timely resolution of blockers.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather necessary data for development, ensuring they are consistently updated on project status.
- Design and implement rollout strategies, beginning with small user groups, to facilitate smooth product adoption.
- Develop product manuals and training materials, ensuring users have access to guidance for essential workflows like login functionality and password resets.
- Provide clients with regular updates on project progress through polished release notes, well-prepared live demos, and comprehensive status reports.
- Proactively capture client feedback and requests, ensuring they feel valued and that their input is incorporated into ongoing development.
- Conduct pre-handoff QA for large feature sets to ensure product stability and quality.
- Maintain up-to-date product manuals, documenting essential workflows and user guidelines.
Requirements
- Highly Organized: Able to manage tasks independently across multiple projects with strong time and project management skills.
- Passionate about product design and user experience, with a strong opinion on UX best practices.
- Skilled in understanding client needs, managing expectations, and ensuring a collaborative approach to product success
- Flexible & Adaptable: Thrives in an agile environment with minimal bureaucratic processes, able to pivot as project needs evolve.
Education and Experience
- At least 2 years of expereince in Software Development
- Previous experience in Project Management or Product Ownership
